Yep, any picture of a ship or boat would have worked!
You find yourselves in a room. There is a comfy leather sofa, a coffee table with some magazines on it and some nice warm towels. There is also a potted plant which, despite a lack of any and all movement or features, seems relieved to see Jerry soaking wet.
Along the walls of the room is a line of doors, some of which have flaming "X"'s above them (these have been used throughout this thread, and the others will explain that the ones with flaming "X"'s above them have been completed).
The doors in the room are (annotated with the colour of their flame "X", if applicable):
4 doors, a lion skull, A Snake,Flames, A Pot, A hill torn in half, A Sword, A Chest, 6 keys, a piece of cloth, Waves, and a Flower.
I am a Sauce Acolyte, Sauce Knight, Sauce Defender, Sauce Monk, Sauce Brewer, and Sauce Priest of the Supreme Court of Sauce because of my homebrew Rogue subclass, the Hot One, as well as my homebrew spell,Saucy Creation. Oh, I'm also a Sauce Serenader for the College of Sauce.

We were about to die when we figured it out. Lucky us!

As the door opens, you all find yourselves stood in a freezing cold, circular room, heavy with frost. In the middle of the room, a fire blazes within a circle of stones, the flames white. Instead of smoke, a freezing fog drifts from it, and it gives off not heat but cold. Ahead of you is a large, steel door with frozen mechanisms across its surface and hinges.
To the left side of the steel door is an open doorway which contains a large metal tank, and several pieces of machinery, all covered in frost and hanging with icicles.
To the right side of the steel door is another open doorway through which you can hear movement, as a frosty conveyor belt endlessly scoops air out of an empty pool and carries it up into the ceiling.
The ceiling itself is a great brass bowl, like a cauldron over the white fire, hung on chains from a great lever that connects in some way to the mechanisms of the door. Icicles hang from it like stalactites, threatening to poke the unwary Jerry, who is taller than people suspected.
Opposite each of the open doorways are open fireplaces, without anything burning in them.
Lining the walls between the two fireplaces are 4 chests, covered in frost. Each of these chests has a symbol on it - Fire, Water, Ice and Air.
I want to go investigate the rooms to the right and left of the door.

Jerry will light a small napalm inside the fire chest, well, small for Jerry.
You open the chest and you happily see that it is filled with firewood, which you then proceed to start dousing in napalm. no-one is really sure where the napalm came from, but they have stopped questioning such things from Jerry.
I want to go investigate the rooms to the right and left of the door.
Pending a description of what it is you're looking to investigate, I'll describe the two side rooms in a little more detail:
The room to the left is mostly full of machinery. Directly inside the room is a large metal tank (as in container, not vehicle of war), and it is connected by pipes to a system of pistons, levers, wheels and gears. These mechanisms are locked frozen in ice, and the tank is covered in frost.
The room to the left has a large, 5ft deep pit in the floor, and some sort of conveyor belt machine on which scoops endlessly trundle down into the pit and then back up into the ceiling. IT is squeaking noisily due to the build-up of ice on it, but it doesn't stop its endless movement.
Is there anything you'd like to investigate further - anything you want to look for, or understand better?
I want to go investigate the rooms to the right and left of the door.
Roll me an investigation roll please!
Also, what are you investigating in these rooms?
I would like to chip off ice from the machines and tank and I want to try to understand better what they do.
Investigation: 20
