Disregard: Question has been answered. Table on pg 268
I've been looking through the rules for class features that work with Firearms, and I'm having trouble finding them, because most features specify Simple or Martial weapons, and guns are neither. Even the Giff's Astral Spark feature specifies Simple or Martial weapons, which doesn't let it be used with firearms.
The best I've found is the Samurai's Fighting Spirit and Rapid Strikes, which apply to "All weapon attacks".
What else works with them?
(Official rules, not the homebrew subclass built around the use of guns)
While it is not made immediately clear all the firearms listed in the DMG are categorized as Martial Ranged Weapons.
The one distinction is that proficiency with firearms is up to the DM and is not necessarily given automatically to characters that are proficient with martial weapons. Depending on the campaign setting you might start with proficiency or need to acquire it through some other means like downtime activity or the Gunner feat.
The Fireams described in Chapter 9 of the DMG classifies all firearms as "Martial Ranged Weapons". So as long as you have proficiency in firearms, any features that apply to martial or ranged weapons applies to them.
Where? I looked and couldn't find it. What page is it on?
My DMG says on pg267:
Proficiency
It's up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn't have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player's Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
