If two creatures (for example a phase spider and a young blue dragon) are both listed as “large.” Are they the same exact size? Or is one bigger than the other?
Public Mod Note
(GPyromania):
Moved from D&D Beyond Feedback to Rules & Game Mechanics
The exact size is irrelevant in game terms, only the fact that they are both “large” and the actual weight if you want to pick it up. Otherwise the exact size is whatever the DM says it is. A Goliath and a Dwarf are both Medium. The Goliath is twice the night and almost four times the weight of the Dwarf.
