As announced, Playtest 8 closed today, November 2. I just didn't expect it to close at noon Pacific Time (while I was literally filling out the final question, before being met by the message "This survey is not accepting additional responses at this time. Thank you!" rather than the usual confirmation that I completed the survey).
If future playtests won't be open throughout the day either, it would would be helpful if you stated at what hour the survey will close. With such short playtest periods, we should be able to utilize the entire period to form well-founded opinions.
Well for some of us it should have closed a full day past (“today” is currently November 3)

they make me itch when a date is specified and a playtest drops a day later local time
I can definitely understand said itch! I appreciate how they scheduled a live stream for the latest playtest video, such that everyone knew when it would drop.
Since the WotC offices are in Seattle, I thought they actually included all of said day for West Coast dwellers. Rather, it's included for most places but the Pacific coast. Going forward, I'll just assume that I need to complete the survey the day before it's announced to close.
