So, I really want some UA races, and normally I would have loads of ideas, bit I can't see much. At most about three races would be in a UA document, and so I ask for your ideas. I think maybe some kind of actual fey race would be cool. Otherwise I'm blank. Now feed me the ideas.

I like the idea of Undead and Aberrant themed races. Undead could follow the Warforged template, but I don't know what the Aberrant race would be like. They would obviously be from the Underdark.
I remember there being the Viashino. That was a very weird race. Never made it in to the Ravnica book but I guess they might've looked too monstrous for some players?
Otherwise best way to get new races is to just delve in to the monster books and piece one together from there. Or put two races together and make a weird hybrid. The last one-shot I did I made Abishai playable with each of the colours for my players (+2 CON and +1 from whatever colour they were) and since it took place in hell I made the entire game void of resistances to fire.

Looking at their description, I can see why they didn't make it. Their racial abilities were all ribbons that had good flavor, but lack any real mechanical value (Slashing unarmed Strike as a Reaction?). Would have worked better if they had used the Lizardmen as a template, and created a Variant from there and called it Viashino.

Viashino didn't make it because they were pretty much just Lizardfolk. 😊
