So, jusy trying to figure out if my choices for invocations should work with my Pally multiclass. If I took the "Thirsty Blade" invoc. to get 2 attacks with pact blade and I'm already a 5th level fighter class that gives me two attacks with one action, would this increase my number of attacks to 3 or 4?
I figure it would, as you're actually using one of your invoc slots to get them. Not to mention, doesnt a regular fighter type get 3 attacks/action by 10th lvl anyway, which is the level this multiclass would have to be to get these anyhow?
If you read the rules, the Extra Attack says, “You can attack twice instead of once with your attack action.” The rules don’t say, “You get one extra attack when you use the attack action.”
The only ways to get more than two attacks per turn is with an Action Surge, a high level fighter, a Bonus Action off hand attack, or a Monk’s Martial Arts or Flurry of Blows features.

Extra Attack does not stack with Thirsting Blade. You would have two attacks total.
