I want to make a Hexblade but it isn't an option on D&D Beyond that i can find. Do I have to buy and add Xanathar's Guide to Everything in the D&D Beyond marketplace?
You have to either own the supplement it came in, or buy the subclass ala carte from the store. If you don't want to buy the entire book, you can buy just the subclass. I did something similar recently. I have no interest in the spelljammer book, but I am an elf guy so, I bought the astral elf for I want to say 2.99. It was a lot cheaper to buy than the whole sourcebook.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

I wish I had known beforehand, I recreated it as a homebrewed species and could have given it to you for free.
I could have done that as well. It's mostly adding misty step prof bonus times/day and the choice of a couple of cantrips. But lets be real, rolling one of these, you're doing it for misty step. The thought of an astral elf fey warlock with the new archfey would be non-stop teleporting. I think it's likely overkill, but...if you want to port every round...

Oh, I have no doubt that you could have built it yourself, I just happened to already have it built because I did it while it was still UA. I used to create all the UA stuff for people when DDB stopped supporting it, but that was before 1DD started rearranging class levels and stuff.
To be honest, I’ve become so disheartened with 1DD in general I haven’t even looked at the last 2 UAs. What’s the new Archfey got going for it?
I bought the Hexblade subclass (you need a subscription to use Homebrews) but am REALLY frustrated that it doesn't seem to come with access to the additional spells. I guess you have to add EACH of those for additional ala carte fees. Arrgh.

You can misty step when you cast a leveled spell prof bonus/day. There's some other stuff, but that's the heart of it. It looks pretty strong. I too am less excited by 1d&d. They've rolled most exciting changes back to 2014 and are failing to fix a lot of problems that have been in the beginning since day 1.

How do you buy the individual class again? It's been a while since I've had to.

Expand your imagination! Read the new book coming out. Watch that new movie. Listen to that person's life story. Draw on your own life. Do not put a limit on your creativity!
That's really annoying. Thanks for letting me know!

You can still get the original version of it by purchasing Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Be aware, though, that an updated version intended for the 2024 version of the Warlock class is in development. A playtest version was released last month here. (D&D Beyond's character builder doesn't have support for it, but people have implemented it using the homebrew system.) So if your need is not urgent, you might want to wait to see when that'll be published before purchasing anything.

You can't. That functionality was removed when they redesigned the online store last year.
