I was trying to work out what would actually make good use of greater invisibility during combat.
Getting advantage for attacks is useful, but it seems like there are no real high damaging spells that are not 'save' based which would sort of waste the advantage side of things.
Since you can't have 2 concentration spells. I'm guessing the full list is for wizard is :
Cantrip - Booming Blade
Cantrip - Chill Touch
Cantrip - Firebolt
Cantrip - Green-Flame Blade
Cantrip - Ray of Frost
Cantrip - Shocking Grasp
1st - Chromatic Orb
2nd - Acid Arrow
2nd - Scorching Ray
5th - Steel Wind Strike (This is actually very cool)
7th - Crown of Stars
I know you can up cast the lower level spell, but it's usually not worth up casting. So with the limited choices what other options would you use the advantage to attack on?
Greater Invis, hide in an place where you can get line of sight on a group and then use summon greater demon but do not concentrate on the summoning. Demon appear and instantly go after everyone they can see for 1d6 rounds, you quietly leg it while it does so (you might be able to do similar with infernal calling but you need to find a way to extend the greater invis duration as infernal calling has a 1 min casting time)
More prankster option...just sneak around tying peoples shoe/boot laces together...otherwise known as casting level 1 spell Snare although this does require 25ft of rope each time which is a bit cumbersome if you plan on doing it a lot and requires some creativity as the rope may become visible depending on how the dm interprets the wording.
You've also got the usual: Fireball/Lightning Bolt/Snillocs Snowball Swarm/Thunder Step/Victrolic Sphere for damaging flashy spells.
Bestow Curse using a level 5+ spell slot so no concnetration required.
Scatter if you feel like teleporting people into hazards or Tidal Wave to knock people over.
Tiny Servant to animate things around people

Cool, thanks for the suggestion but I don't think any of them make use of the Advantage (E.G. rolls 2 dice pick the best one). It's making use of the disadvantage of anyone trying to attack you. But all of those would be either Saving Throws or Others making normal attack rolls.
taking another pass at it...you'll have to multi class to get other option I think.
Cleric would give you access to various Inflict Wounds spells and Guiding Bolt, Paladin access ot various smite spells ablebit for a hefty investment in levels, warlock for eldritch blast (and smite spells if going hexblade).
Otherwise your list seems to be it, that said you're a wizard, spell research is a thing so no reason why you couldn't try to research those spells from othe classes that use to hit rolls and make arcane versions of them.

Another fun use is to use elvish accuracy feat. This gives a huge change to crit. You could use this for spells like crown of stars to deal 8d12 radiant damage as a bonus action!
The Bladesinger Wizard (a favourite of mine) does well with the advantage granted by "Greater Invisibility".
Reduce the risk of taking damage (you ARE a Wizard), but you gain a reliable way of landing your weapon attacks. Win-win.
And if you feel like doubling-down on this...Bladesingers "technically" must have some kind of elven heritage, so they qualify for the "Elven Accuracy" feat...letting them gain advantage...on advantage!

oh sorry, missed the point of the post was for utilising advantage on attack rolls

Advantage is only one benefit - being invisible means you can't be counterspelled, so really any non-concentration spell is a useful follow-up.

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of

When the DM smiles, it is already to late.
That means if being invisible makes your cast ( in that precise moment ) be also invisible, then this character could be unstoppable !!!!
My Ready-to-rock&roll chars:
Dertinus Tristany // Amilcar Barca // Vicenç Sacrarius // Oriol Deulofeu // Grovtuk

The reason I cast G. Invisibility is to protect myself from being attacked, not to gain advantage. Yeah, advantage is nice.
But you can also cast G. Invisibility on someone else, namely the ROGUE. They really want that advantage.
