Nope, he’s a fresh build, never even played with him yet. I just made it to play with some numbers and try out the player app. Is there maybe a Dwarven trait I’m forgetting about? I’d love to figure it out so I can start with some hit points and be able to explain it to my DM, not just “I dunno, it’s what the app said”
I’ll use a different character sheet app tonight and make him from scratch and see what it says
What happens is you put in the total hitpoints manually, then it added it in the Con bonus stuff on top of it, only it did so twice. Probably hit back at some point while building the character.
There is a glitch that occurs when “Manual HP” is selected before you select the Class. The system get confused since it doesn’t know what die typ to use so it automatically defaults to the highest possible which is the Barbarian’s d12.
If you select the class first it shouldn’t happen. Just set your character’s “rolled HP” to 6 for a Wizard and everything will be as it should.
I’m creating a dwarf wizard and I wanted to play around with the new DDB Player app. When I finished making him, he has 15 hit points at level 1?
Thats great! But I thought it was only 6+CON modifier, which would be a total of 9. Where are these extra 6 hp coming from?
Link the character please

Uh... weird. Nothing looks off on that sheet, you should have 9HP. Check the HP tab and see if you haven’t had someone adjust your Max HP?

Did you choose the option to manually adjust hit points every level or automatically add the average after first level?
Manual
I've noticed that tends to happen at the start with the manual hp option. Not sure why.

Cool, thanks guys. So much for making a wizard that can take 2 hits!
Eh, at level 1 creatures don't usually hit that hard, and there's always Shield.
