Posted Oct 27, 2020DMs, Depending on how many people in your party, Adjust the health pool of asylum demon accordingly to make sure it's a tricky first boss encounter. If engaged in the first encounter before the party has recovered their gear, They should be using Broken Sword Hilts which are equivelent to Daggers, This should be a Hard fight, So depending on the amount of people in the Party adjust the Health pool so that He doesn't get nuked down too quickly.
In the second encounter a single player may choose to do a plunge attack onto the Demon, This is a Guarenteed melee hit, The rest of the group must hop down into the hall to engage the boss, If anyone chooses to stay on the balcony there are 2 options, Either, Ignoring Initiative and turns, The asylum demon smashes the balcony, Dealing 1d6 damage to everyone on there and causing them to fall down, Or the platform will just crumble beneath them, causing them to fall into the hall.
The party has 10 IRl seconds to decide who plunges before jumping down, Or else Asylum demon smashes them all off the balcony.
