Two-Headed. The dog has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and on saving throws against being blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, stunned, or knocked unconscious.
Multiattack. The dog makes two bite attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw against disease or become poisoned until the disease is cured. Every 24 hours that elapse, the creature must repeat the saving throw, reducing its hit point maximum by 5 (1d10) on a failure. This reduction lasts until the disease is cured. The creature dies if the disease reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
Description
A death dog is an ugly two-headed hound that roams plains, and deserts. Hate burns in a death dog's heart, and a taste for humanoid flesh drives it to attack travelers and explorers. Death dog saliva carries a foul disease that causes a victim's flesh to slowly rot off the bone.

Posted Feb 5, 2021can this thing survive if it has lost one head, because if it cant, just use the Vorpal sword (great sword style does the best) and cut off one of its heads, if it only make it weaker, just go for damage.
If anyone can tell me if it can survive with only one head tell me.

Posted Jun 16, 2022Just use the Seriach's Beast. Offer this in a dream then give this as a feat. just don't give all the details expect the summing part.
May summon a Death Dog as an action. Death dog remains until killed/banished. Regenerate ability on 5-6 on 1d6
on a long rest.
For the duration that the Death Dog is alive, the summoner emits the smell of rotting flesh to a distance of 10 feet in all directions.
The death dog can be issued a command as an action, and will continue to follow that instruction until it is completed. However, the Death Dog is true to it's nature, and if not actively attacking or consuming the flesh of a humanoid, it will lose interest in its commands and attack the nearest humanoid with the intent of killing I to devour it's flesh.
This is Seriach's Gift, a beast that follows the Vestiges' will to consume the flesh of the living.
