10 out of 10 would recommend to an eagle!
10 out of 10 my go to bird of prey!
7 out of 10 Not enough water.
did anyone else notice that it speaks "Giant Eagle" as a language.
Yes, and the description says "speaks its own language." A few other beasts with higher Int scores (for beasts) speak their own beast language: giant elk, giant owl, winter wolf.
Does anyone else enjoy the voice who reads the monster names because this is definitely the best one.
Giant Eagle.
Sounds like it may be Matt Mercer - Critical Role. Go listen to Ogre, I swear it sounds like Marisha Ray.
This is a great polymorph target until your bard gets mistaken and casts Tasha's Hideous Laughter on you and both free fall to our near death.
It is Matt Mercer & Marisha Ray.
This is what Giant Eagle sounds like, in case you are wondering...

Well played.
I love the concept that you can take “giant eagle” as a starter language.
Would it be weird to have a Goliath Barbarian riding one of these? I mean, an 8-foot-tall barbarian on a giant eagle, with a greataxe no less, would be super cool, but...
Entirely possible, so long as your DM says the anatomy is compatible.
giant eagle noises as i swoop at strad
What would be a good, funny name for one of these? (A half-elf Devotion Paladin/Genie Warlock rides it.)
Big Bird
I'm Impressed sounds so very real.
The winter wolf is a monstrosity, not a beast.
Surely eagles don’t have advantage in the dark with sight based checks. They can’t see in the dark like owls can
