Description
A giant fire beetle is a nocturnal creature that takes its name from a pair of glowing glands that give off light. Miners and adventurers prize these creatures, for a giant fire beetle's glands continue to shed light for 1d6 days after the beetle dies. Giant fire beetles are most commonly found underground and in dark forests.
It's kinda cute
Does it shoot lava
Nope
If you cast Dragon's Breath on it, it can! :D
How much would the glands sell for?
id say 20-40 Gold given there illuminations
Why is there no forest environment tag, it says it lives in dark forests.
My Dwarf Druid has one as a pet
My half-orc fighter has one as a pet and it's awsome
i want a swarm of them as pets
This is freaky
agreed. and how big is it? like in feet/in
I really hope that it's possible to turn familiar from "Find Familiar" spell into this giant fire beetle
New goal: get a pet fire beetle.
When I looked up how much they weigh I found a table with sizes and weighs but not for fire beetle’s specifically. It said a small creature weighs 8 lb.–60 lb. so how much would one weigh? 35lb?
Do these things have wings? I would think they should be able to fly, but no flight speed is listed.
its probably on the smaller end so maybe 8-15 lbs?
woops forgot to quote
2-2.5ft
Missed opportunity for Neutral Weevil alignment
I managed to get 3 of them as pets in an out of the abyss game, I have never been happier
