I see no reason a giant frog companion couldn't attack a small or smaller creature with a DC 11 strength/dex check, and eat it too.

(Assumed strength/dex check since grapling works this way)

If it only has 1 attack then you'd have to wait a turn.

 Swallow is not an attack. Just as with  Booming Blade an attack is part of it but in and of itself it is not a weapon attack.

OK so I'm playing a Grung Ranger as a 'guest character' in a buddies long term campaign and I've chosen the giant frog as my animal companion.
Just imagine a Grung riding a giant frog in full leather barding across the plains as the hop at full 30ft speed.
I can't wait

Do slaadi, bullywugs and giant frogs work in some kind of cult because that would be cool. And if there was a spawn stone in the bullywug and giant frogs head that you could take out that would be cool like the salafi.
