Boo
Definitely buffing it for my druid character because ain't no way this thing is weaker than a giant raven.
Thanks Matt mercer for enlightening me on how to say GIanT Oul I would have been completely lost otherwise
these are great summons for circle of the shepherd druid, if you're in a more aerial battle! its a good mix of damage and hp! at least i think so-
So in a way the bird mounts you?
Could a goblin/ ranger (beastmaster) befriend a baby giant owl while it's still considered small to medium and then as it grows up to it's full strength, have the giant owl pick up the goblin on its turn? Especially if I build the character to be proficient in animal handling and the friendly to animal spell compendium? I realize that it's up to the DM, but as a new player would this be a bridge too far for a DM to overlook the medium/smaller beast companion requirement?
