Trampling Charge. If the mammoth moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the mammoth can make one stomp attack against it as a bonus action.
Actions
Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (4d8 + 7) piercing damage.
Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one prone creature. Hit: 29 (4d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage.
Description
A mammoth is an elephantine creature with thick fur and long tusks. Stockier and fiercer than normal elephants, mammoths inhabit a wide range of climes, from subarctic to subtropical.
The image here is definitely not any Mammoth I've ever heard of...
CALEB MAKE MY NOISE FOR ME
Literally saw this the second it came over the video in the background. haha
This is the best transformation for an arch druid to BUST SOME SHIT UP.
(Also Liam elephant noises)
I wish the community could submit images for monsters and beasts.
@hakujinmatt I was thinking about the same scene! Trample Trample!
yessir
my druis used this on me against a gaint tree blight. i knocked it over with the prone and just StOmP
"mammoths inhabit a wide range of climes, from subarctic to subtropical." clearly not if you look at the creature environments.
Assuming of course the archdruid in question doesn’t *really* want you dead and burns a 9th level Shapechange and becomes a:
ancient white/brass dragon
pit fiend
leviathan

If the Mammoth uses Trampling Charge on a target that's already Prone, does he get the bonus action stomp automatically?
I would definitely interpret it that way.
Mammoths can do a 30ft high jump, while cat can only do a -1ft high jump. RAW are the best.

can a lvl 5 normal druid turn into a mammoth or trex?
At level 5, absolutely not. At level seven they could Polymorph into the mammoth, and they could polymorph into the T-Rex at level 8. A moon druid could wild shape into a mammoth at level 20, but the T-Rex has too high of a CR for wildshape.
at level 5, definitely not. 'normal' druids(which I take as meaning not Circle of the Moon, even though circle of the moon is overpowered due to high bonus hp at all levels, and being able to turn into any CR6 or lower beast INFINITE TIMES at level 20 and therefore nobody should even consider not doing circle of the moon) could never do either. A moon druid could do mammoth at level 18(for moon druids it is CR 1 or less at level two and after 6th level it is level/3 rounded down), and I once was in a group where the DM let the party moon druid take a epic boon that increased the max CR by 1 each time(leading to t rex and beyond). Me(the artificer) and the wizard and rogue were very annoyed at the excessive boosting of an already overpowered subclass, but that's DMs going crazy with homebrew for you
Why does the Mammoth look like a panther
cuz there is no art for the mammoth, the panther is the beast monster placeholder
