Charge. If the minotaur moves at least 10 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 9 (2d8) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet away and knocked prone.
Labyrinthine Recall. The minotaur can perfectly recall any path it has traveled.
Reckless. At the start of its turn, the minotaur can gain advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls it makes during that turn, but attack rolls against it have advantage until the start of its next turn.

Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage.
Description
Their fur stained with the blood of fallen foes, minotaurs are massive, bull-headed humanoids whose roar is a savage battle cry that all civilized creatures fear.
These beasts stole my great axe. I then shot it in the head with my blowgun. Never mess with a axe-wielding maniac!!!!
I do a lot of home-brew with new people and I find that if I use a minotaur it takes too long to kill it because it has big health and noob players
Why do they only speak abyssal?
I think it’s because in the lore of dnd, Minotaurs are related too and worship baphomet who is a demon lord of the abyss.
I created a character that was a minotaur. It has a greataxe and a warhammer.
I fell like this should have better stats and a higher cr, but otherwise a really cool monster.
Only npc minotaurs with a -2 to Int get Labyrinthine recall.
Why is a minotaur CR 3? This doesn't make sense, CR 2 at best...
Can you have a playable Minotaur ?
[REDACTED] A Minotaur can one hit a level 3 character and has well over double the health of any level 3 character. I put one against 3 people and it killed every single one of them barely taking any damage. If anything Minotaurs should be higher Cr then they are
Based on their calculation system from the DMG they should have a lower CR.
Based on the dmg, which is just a guideline. I understand your want to follow the books but sometimes they just aren’t realistic or balanced at all.
I'm actually wrong...doh...I recalculated again and the minotaur averages at CR 2.5 (Offensive/Defensive) so it rounded up, it is a CR 3 creature.
can confirm they are deadly... wiped our cleric and left us for dead in a labyrinth.....:(
There's an older Unearthed Arcana article that includes playable minotaurs.

MrRhexx’s “What They Don’t Tell You About Minotaurs”
They're playable in Theros and Ravnica as well.
Ah, glad it's a playable race. My Lawful Good Minotaur Vengeance Paladin is doing great!
I made hi hp 12 for level 1 players :)
I mean there's a language called minotaur.
