Fey Ancestry. Ismold has advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
Fury of the Small (2/Long Rest). Once a turn when Ismold damages a creature larger than him with an attack or spell he can deal 2 extra damage to that creature.
Keen Hearing and Sight. Ismold has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or sight.
Military Rank. Ismold has a military rank of Lieutenant. Soldiers loyal to Ironridge Army recognize his authority and influence, and they defer to him if they are of a lower rank. Ismold can invoke his rank to exert influence over other soldiers and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. He can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where his rank is recognized.
Multiattack. The scout makes two melee attacks or two ranged attacks.
Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, ranged 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Description
Goblins are cunning in battle, and occupy an uneasy place in a dangerous world. Ismold is a skilled hunter and tracker who offers his services to the Dwarven nation of Ironridge, his home. He hunts wild game, serve as a guide, and provide military reconnaissance.
War has been his life for as long as Ismold can remember. He trained as a youth, studied the use of weapons and armor, learned basic survival techniques, including how to stay alive on the battlefield. He is a Scout Lieutenant in the standing national army of Ironridge, and rose to prominence during a lifetime of war.

Equipment: A Lieutenant’s insignia of rank, a trophy taken from a fallen enemy (a piece of a banner), a deck of cards, a set of traveler’s clothes, a set of leather armor, a shortsword, a quiver of 20 arrows, and a pouch containing 10 gp.
