Solid Form. Amalgam can become its solid form for 2d4 rounds then has too wait a round before reforming into its solid form again.
Ooze Splash. Can only be used in ooze form. Ranged attack (40/120). Amalgam flings a part of itself at an enemy doing 2d4 damage and corroding anything it touches.
Sudden Shape-change. When targeted by a melee attack, Amalgam can use its reaction to give up its solid form for the next two rounds to dodge to attack.
Description
An Amalgam is an amalgam of 3 or 4 beasts (varies on what DM wants the sub-creatures) that have formed an ooze like substance that can hold its shape for 2d4 turns. Amalgams have set solid forms. (All stats are example of a Constrictor Snake, Brown Bear, and Axe Beak Amalgam)
Basic Rule for Creating an Amalgam (For DM)
- Size: Majority
- Strength: Average (Ex: 14+15+19 = 48/3 = 16)
- Dexterity: Average
- Constitution: Average
- Intelligence: Average
- Wisdom: Average
- Charisma: Average
- Armor Class: Average
- Speed: Average
- Hit Die Count: Average
- Hit Die: Majority
- Hit Point Modifier: Sum of two lowest (Ex: +2,+3,+12 -> 2+3)
- Attack Actions: Pick any two attacks from any of the chosen beasts. No Multiattacks.
