Traits

Noble Fey Ancestry. The Celtic Guardian has advantage on saving throws against being frightened and charmed.

Darkvision. The Celtic Guardian can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. It can discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.

Powerful Build. It counts as one size larger when determining its carrying capacity and the weight it can push, drag, throw, or lift.

Relentless Endurance. When the Celtic Guardian is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, it can drop to 1 hit point instead. Once it uses this trait, it can’t do so again until it finishes a long rest.

Actions

Multiattack. The Celtic Guardian makes two melee attacks, or can use its Rally Cry ability.

Celtic Sabers. Melee Weapon Attack: 5 foot range. +7 to hit; 2d6 [6] slashing + [5] 1d10 force damage.

Spell Breaker (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). All non-hostile creatures within 30 feet of the Celtic Guardian gain 10 temporary HP, and can add 1d4 to their next spell save made within the next minute.

Reactions

Parry. The Celtic Guardian adds 2 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the Celtic Guardian must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.

Magic Resistance. The Celtic Guardian has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Description

An elf who learned to wield a sword, he baffles enemies with lightning-swift attacks.

The Celtic Guardian is an elite warrior who serves the Seelie Court. This brave warrior forms the spine of the army and is used to dealing with the dark forces of the Unseelie Court. He has taken an Oath to the Ancients of the High Fey.

The Oath of the Ancients is as old as the race of elves and the rituals of the druids. Sometimes called fey knights, green knights, or horned knights, paladins who swear this oath cast their lot with the side of the light in the cosmic struggle against darkness because they love the beautiful and life-giving things of the world, not necessarily because they believe in principles of honor, courage, and justice. They adorn their armor and clothing with images of growing things-leaves, antlers, or flowers-to reflect their commitment to preserving life and light in the world.

The tenets of the Oath of the Ancients have been preserved for uncounted centuries. This oath emphasizes the principles of good above any concerns of law or chaos. Its four central principles are simple.

Kindle the Light. Through your acts of mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, kindle the light of hope in the world, beating back despair.

Shelter the Light. Where there is good, beauty, love, and laughter in the world, stand against the wickedness that would swallow it. Where life flourishes, stand against the forces that would render it barren.

Preserve Your Own Light. Delight in song and laughter, in beauty and art. If you allow the light to die in your own heart, you can't preserve it in the world.

Be the Light. Be a glorious beacon for all who live in despair. Let the light of your joy and courage shine forth in all your deeds.

He later became a knight of another dimension, often summoned via a card or spell. Celtic Guardians are actually a name given to any elves who are warriors who pledge service to another fey or elven ruler, religious orders, and noble causes. A knight's alignment determines the extent to which a pledge is honored.
