Traits

Leaf Guard. While directly exposed to bright Sunlight, the bayleef cannot gain conditions, except the Grappled, Restrained, or Prone conditions. If a condition is already affecting the bayleef, it's effects are neutralized for as long as it remains directly exposed to bright Sunlight.

Actions

Razor Leaf. Melee Weapon Attack : +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit : 12 (3d6 + 2) Slashing damage, or 19 (5d6 + 2) Slashing damage if the bayleef is Bloodied. This attack scores a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 to 20.

Magical Leaf. Ranged Spell Attack : +4 to hit, range 60 ft., 1 target. Hit : 12 (3d6 + 2) Slashing damage, or 19 (5d6 + 2) Slashing damage if the bayleef is Bloodied.

Poison Powder. Constitution Saving Throw, DC 12, one creature the bayleef can see within 30 feet. Failure : The target takes 3 (1d6) Poison damage and has the Poisoned condition for 1 minute. It repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Success : No damage, and the target becomes immune to this bayleef's Poison Powder for 24 hours.

Bonus Actions

Synthesis (2/Day). The bayleef cast the Cure Wounds spell (lvl 2 version if directly exposed to bright Sunlight), using Constitution as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 12).

Description

CR 2 : DCR 2 - OCR 2

Bayleefs are grown-up Chikoritas. The adolescent form of a quadrupedal specie of dinosaur-plant hybrid native to the plains of the feywild, still docile if more energetic and powerfull. It has a pale yellow body made of a smooth moss-like material, it has a long sauropod like-neck crowned by a singular crooked leaf, which it uses as a sensory organ and weapon. It has a pair of large eyes with red irises, and a stubby tail. Each of its legs are fairly short, and it's neck is collared by a ring of tubular, tightly-curled leaves which emits a stimulant aroma.
