Grappler. The Blood Skeleton has advantage on attacks against creatures it has grappled.
Regeneration. The Blood Skeleton regains 4 (1d + 2) hit points at the start of its turn. If the magical item that created the blood skeleton is destroyed, this trait does not function. The Blood Skeleton dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and does not regenerate. If the skeleton’s bones are scattered while it is at 0 hit points, it is stunned for one turn while it collects its bones when it regenerates.
Multi attack: The Blood Skeleton makes two attacks; one Grapple attack and one Bite attack.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage and 5 (1d6 +2) necrotic damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
Drag. The Blood Skeleton can use its reaction to move with an ally that it has grappling and moving the same creature as the Blood Skeleton. If any of the allies grappling the target have no movement left, the target can not be dragged. If two or more Blood Skeletons are grappling the same target, they can move their full speed.

Posted May 10, 2020I suggest pairing several of these skeletons with a magic object that created them in the same room. They drag victims to the magic object and if successful kill that creature and increase their numbers by one. The battle could start to death spiral if party members start to succumb to this tactic, so be careful.
