We believe that Dungeons & Dragons can serve as a safe space for self-expression. To celebrate Pride Month in 2023, Wizards of the Coast is rereleasing the Dice of True Color digital dice set on D&D Beyond as a free claimable and selling a line of Pride products via the MTG Pro Shop to support The Trevor Project.
What Is Pride Month?
In the United States, the month of June celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community in honor of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. These demonstrations represented a turning point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States and worldwide and are now celebrated globally to honor the brave people who protested for equality in 1969.
This celebration has come to be known as Pride Month and encompasses various events ranging from parades to ceremonies. It is a time when millions gather to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community who have faced and continue to face inequality.

Fear not, the appearance of the dice does not affect their balance. That's the great thing about digital dice
Happy late pride yall!
How do actually digital dices work? Like are they actually physics based or is more of a random number generator thing?
They're physics based with two models; a graphical model and a physics model. The position and orientation of the graphical model (what you see) is synchronized to the physics model.
The physics model runs on the following:
The initial velocity is seeded by visible local system information such as time and date, CPU load, number of apps running etc meaning it's always a different value each time.
That's so cool (call me a caveman for not knowing). Thanks for explaining.
The Dice are so pretty! Which makes me want them irl than just a screen lol
Been using them since 6/2, and the sound works just fine. May have been an issue last year. As for appearance . . . well, they're free at least.
This is quite possibly one of the coolest dice sets I've ever seen! Shame they wouldn't work in real life due to the holes, or I'd try and recreate them.
The dice are a bit disappointing considering that they were the same pride dice from last year. Was really looking forward to seeing a new style of pride dice for this year.
Wow, a set of dice they already gave us.....thanks?
What sucks is they didn't really do it for everyone. It's region locked so certain people won't even be able to get them. While that might not be D&D Beyond's fault I definitely wouldn't say it was done for everyone.
Well I missed them the first time. Now I do think they shouldn't have stopped being available July 1 but I'm glad they released them again.
I want a pride shirt so bad, but after shipping and conversion to CAD it's $55 which is expensive.
Broooo, if i could, i would totally make my own pride dice set, even tho i like drawing people (monsters or not)
Thank you, I feel better. This now makes me feel a lot better as being somewhat of a new player and scared to play.
:)
yeah a bit weird since one of my favorite parts about dice is the beautiful sound of the plastic hitting the table
gay dice gay dice gay dice gay dice gay dice
Huh, interesting!
To be honest, I'm nervous to put in my input on this conversation but having sexual preference in game is actually something as a creator, i do. Outside of it, I'm not sure why people have all these fancy dice or clothes for the lgbq+ when to be honest, does it really matter how we act or look or even use? (I'm actually afraid of offending someone with this now)
