Also for door 2: 10 off for a product worth like 220... yeah sorry not gonna happen ^^"
Just makes you want to support dnd beyond right? XD
I loved that thing and made them for my party for the holiday campaign I had created after Hans Trapp and Krampus tpkd them
Wow, the first three days are minor discounts on: Coffee, which is so overpriced I will never buy it; a set of overpriced cards and journals that I will never buy; some LARP gear I will never buy.
Not really looking that impressive this year, WoTC.
EDIT 1: Day 4. Oh look, a discount on a product I can literally get at my local game store, because I’ve seen this product there before, and it’s not going to cost me a chunk of my weekly paycheck. I thought you wanted people to get into D&D, WoTC?
EDIT 2: Day 5. Some jewellery I can’t afford. Whoop-de-doo. Unless these items are enchanted with some life-changing effects, then I don’t need them.
EDIT 3: Day 6. Oh, that MTX-riddled idle game that keeps trying to get pushed on me? No thanks. I don’t like predatory premium pricing.
EDIT 4: Day 7. Yet another cash grab item that no one asked for. Fragile ornaments that will only come out for one day a year.
edit 5: Day 8. Pins that will only be bought by the brightly-coloured hair people who don’t play the game and want to see it turned into a utopia where there aren’t any issues whatsoever. Yawn.
edit 6: Day 9, 10, 11: a $25 blanket, yet another partnered content cash-grab (this time for Displate), and some Hasbro toys plug. Man, I’m so glad I’m subscribed for this stellar content.
edit 7: day 12. Oh, look, another coupon for another product I didn’t ever need, won’t ever need, and will never need.
Even knowing that last year only had one worthwhile gift, I still got my hopes up too much. :(
Useless and sales of the book at the normal 20% off
HOW DOES EVERY ONE MISS THIS??? Under the picture it says "*This offer is available outside of the US. We're working on correcting the image."
Gets worse... door 4 US only... and just again a discount
And I know my original comment doesn't reflect that, but I was trying to spread some positivity.
no taxation with out representation
Nice day 1 coffee which is overpriced. Also why would anybody buy dnd coffee?
Day 2 discounts on products. Not bad but won’t buy.
Day 3 pretty much Halloween costumes which nobody will ever wear.
Day 4 looks okay but confusing. Do I get 1 set of metal dice or 60+, is 60+ how many possible ones there are?
Fair, I got my hopes up as well. Free dice would be amazing, I’m a dice addict.
So the dndcalltoarms sight doesn't let me change the delivery country from Germany. Is that just me or does someone at Wizards or Burgschneider need to fix this?
Yes thats sad. Its a little better than last yeas because they managed to start at day one.
But likt this they could just not do it. This is reaaaly lazy.
All they had to do was put in something like the printable Owlbear or a coloring page and it would have felt like they'd got the plot. Free digital dice or a monstrous compendium would be great--themes would be cool. Anything that obviously came from D&D Beyond would be fine. All these third-party coupons/discounts are completely missing the point.
Idont even expect that much. I dont expect free products. I only except, that its not a lazy cashgrab that screams "give us your money"
A new characrer sheet background, a funny npc, a xmas homebrew item, a dnd poem, hell.. even a dnd meme.
This is stuff you could get anyone in the company to do or even people from the comunity and should not even be that much more effort than coming up with stupid discounts.
But the way it was last year and so far this year i would prefer if they dont have a calendar at all.
Last year they had 2 things that were not disapointing.this year so far, none.
Looks to be 1 set, 60+ is just how many different sets.
That’s what I thought, couldn’t imagine them giving 60 sets for 30 dollars.
Once again, WOTC say “F*** you rest of the world, we’re only giving people in the USA anything that’s worth having”.
SORT IT OUT AND MAKE THIS MORE INCLUSIVE!
Because everyone DIDN'T miss it, the comment you're quoting was BEFORE they added that disclaimer under the picture. This was comment #27, and the response from WotC / DnDBeyond was comment #75, posted 7.5 hours later.
