Posted Dec 20, 2024This is ridiculous: Both Book of Ebon Tides and Tales from the Shadows are being advertised as being 20% off at $31.99 each. However, YOU CANNOT BUY BOTH OF THESE BOOKS AT THE SAME TIME AT THAT PRICE. If you put both in your cart at the same time, the price GOES UP to $35 each. Apparently, no one deactivated the normal bundle price override in the shop.

Posted Dec 23, 2024The FAQ says that, but the Wizards.com website doesn't seem to reflect the supposedly discounted price. For instance, Tasha's physical + digital combo is still listed at $59.99 when you'd think it would be $47.99 - even when I add the item to the cart to check out. So is this just a lie?
EDIT: ...Wait, looking at the D+P bundle on D&D Beyond, it says that the normal price is $79.94, and $59.99 is the discount. ... Hmmm? I could have sworn that when I last checked some time ago in a previous sale that $59.99 was the non-sale price, but I could have been wrong... EDIT 2 : No, the same $79.94->59.99 discount is for Xanathar's which is not on sale.

Not sure why they translate my actual money that i'Ve put on a book already as a discount they are giving me, it's not the same. Feel a bit ripped off. Won't put my money on older books now unless I get a really low price.
