With the release of the new Monster Manual in February, all the latest Core Rulebooks are available for players to begin and continue their epic adventures.
The first round of official corrections and clarifications for the Core Rulebooks—known as errata—is live. Sage Advice, which has been updated to reflect rules queries and answers from the new Core Rulebooks, is also available today!
2024 Core Rulebooks Errata
The first errata release for the new Core Rulebooks is now available. This document, available via PDF, is made available for players with print copies of the 2024 Core Rulebooks so they can reference the latest corrections.
The latest errata has already been implemented in the D&D Beyond digital toolset and in SRD 5.2.
The Return of Sage Advice
The Sage Advice Compendium collects questions and answers about rules interactions in Dungeons & Dragons. With the release of the new Core Rulebooks, Sage Advice has been updated to encompass the new material presented in these books. It will continue to be updated as more questions are brought up by the community.

What is Sage Advice?
In D&D, rules are a tool meant to support and inspire play—not restrict it. No ruleset can cover every scenario, and we don't want one that does, as it would limit the open-ended nature of D&D.
The Dungeon Master is an adjudicator for how these tools are used, but players and DMs alike sometimes run into situations where rules might be unclear. That's where Sage Advice comes in. It doesn't override a DM's call. Instead, it offers interpretations that help everyone better understand the rules and enjoy using them.
