D&D Beyond Drops: Master Tier Content Sharing is Here

Awesome Job, showing such a fast reaction to the community is setting a REALLY good precedent for how serious the team is about the future!

Content is shareable with anyone in the same campaign by anyone who has the Master tier and above. As in, they can read your books, use your monsters in the encounter builder, and yes, use your maps. That part is nothing new. It works the same way it does for you.

 When content sharing is active it shares from all the owned content anyone in the campaign has. If the DM isn't the one with the Master tier subscription but someone else in the campaign does have that, then turning on content sharing when the drops encounter sharing goes live would give the DM access to the drops encounters.

This was the obvious outcome and I'm glad to see WOTC folded. This was an extremely bad and greedy decision to begin with so I'm glad it didn't work out. Keep content shareable or there is no point into using DND Beyond at all. 

 I always wanted the Player Content shareable, but also the hyperbole about moustache twisting villains turning everything into microtransactions was insane and had to repeatedly be called out.

 That changed a long time ago when they made the VTT publicly usable.  All purchased content for Maps in a campaign with sharing turned on is usable by the DM of that campaign, even if they didn't buy it and don't have the Master Tier themselves.
