You touch a creature that has died within the last minute. That creature returns to life with 1 hit point. This spell can't return to life a creature that has died of old age, nor can it restore any missing body parts.

I believe it coming back as a vampire has to do with one detail that people ignore about this spell. Its the only resurrection spell that doesnt require "the soul be free and willing"
I believe the premise behind this is that it takes about 1 minute for the sould to leave the body after death.
A vampire who is killed and resurrected returns to life as theyre original, living race, but only if their soul actually left their corrupted body.
Why does it say in Tasha's that Revivify is now a Druid spell but I can't select it as a spell on my character builder?
I am a firm believer in making resurrection magic extremely rare, unpredictable and dangerous. A 300 gp diamond cost is the very least that this spell should cost, and in my campaigns Raise Dead and the like is not available for purchase at your local church. Death should be a real and serious possibility that encourages careful planning, and not even the very rich should have access to consequence-free resurrection.
yes
If a corpse is an object then how does one touch a creature that has died within the last minute?
There is a homebrew 3rd level spell called greater mending that would reattach a severed limb with limitations. Just google search "greater mending spell".
Why can't an necromancer do reviy its kinda dumb
What if it a 1minuter old Vampire
This spell, like raise dead, must be capable of healing mortal wounds, right? It would be useless otherwise.

What might be the reason(s) for why the Artificer class could learn it but not the wizard class or more druid circles learn it?
Wizards in general get no healing spells, so this just keeps with that. The Artificer is a special type of caster who uses objects to mimic casting spells. Hence their different spell list which includes cure wounds and other healing spells.
I would rule that this can reattach any limbs that have been severed if they are still around and pressed against the body. Just not "missing" limbs. Since almost any limb removal happens as flavor text, it doesn't make sense to limit revivify like that. Truly missing (eaten, totally burned away) limbs cannot be regrown, but if this can restore a heart that has been cut in two or a punctured lung, it can re-attach an arm or even a head that is in close proximity when the spell is cast.
I myself would rule that using Gentle Repose after the 1 minute wouldn't do anything. Even if Jeremy said something on it, I would only allow it if they cast it before the 1 minute mark.
Ever thought about how this writen? "You touch a creature that has died within the last minute." A creature... However, if a creature is dead then it's a corpse and corpses are counted as an object...
RAW you can't use this on a dead creature cause it's an object, not a creature.
A corpse is both a Dead Creature and an Object.
After Tasha's adding Revivify in the additional spells for the druid - I can use LOTR's Treebeard's poem as the verbal component.
"Beneath the roof of sleeping leaves and dreams of trees untold.
When woodland halls are green and cool, and the wind is in the west...
Come back to me... Come back to me... and say my land is best."
More than 6 seconds but good use of something thematic.
Isnt there a specific class or subclass that allows the use of this spell or the other revival spells for free? I remember there being one but i thought it was grave cleric or something. I haven’t played dnd for a while but i just had a character idea out of nowhere and id rather not spend 300gp diamonds every 30 seconds.
Why can't I add this to my spells? The book is listed as owned. The spell is listed under ranger spells. I can add other spells of the same L3 . Something is off and I cannot figure it out.
Why isn't Druid on the list of Available? Tashas makes it available. It doesn't load on the DnDBeyond App either.
