Base Class: Rogue
Since the invention of the gun, it has been used for anything from game hunting to war. Crack Shot rogues take the use of certain firearms to extremely effective levels. Especially deadly at range, Crack Shot rogues tend to shy away from the heat of battle in favor of an advantageous position from which to rain bullets down on the enemy.
Marksman's Proficiencies
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with tinker's tools and firearms.
Sharpshooter
Starting at 3rd level, you have +3 to attack rolls made with ranged weapon attacks, and you do not have disadvantage when firing at range.
Long Shot
Starting at 9th level, when firing at a target in your weapon's long range you score a critical hit if your attack roll is more than 5 above your target's AC.
Steady Shot
At level 13, if you do not move before you take the attack action on your turn, you can spend your bonus action to set up a shot. If this bonus action is used, roll to hit with advantage and if the shot hits it is considered to be a critical hit. Your movement speed is then reduced to zero until the beginning of your next turn.
Sniper
Starting at 17th level, you can take 10 minutes to set up a ranged shot. If you do this, you automatically critically hit your target.

Posted Jun 26, 2024Hello! This race is part of an ongoing project and can always use improvement! If anyone has suggestions for adjustments that can be made, I will gladly hear them (especially if they are based in actual use).
