This is more of a request and it may seem just a little dumb, but is there a way to include a check box for spell effects such as bless and bane? My players have the hardest time remembering that they are under the effects of a bless spell, so if it could be checked on like a condition and perhaps an indicator on attacks and the like that they get the additional 1d4. A small thing and I'm sure a not so small thing to code considering where it could possibly be applied.
I'm really liking the new design! It seems much easier to get quickly from one piece of information to the next.
Typos
Actions > Ready > Side bar : some of the text for spells seems to have not been written correctly. I'm seeing [Tooltip Not Found] come up a few times.
Actions > Search > Side bar : this side bar info has a similar issue as the spells mentioned above, except now it's happening with particular skills.
Actions > Hide > Side bar: same as above
Suggestions
Damage type for spells doesn't show up in the side bar, just the symbol representing that type. This seems to be addressed for weapons, where the symbol and type (piercing, bludgeoning, slashing) both show up in the side bar. It would be helpful if spells were treated similarly, particularly for mobile where it's difficult to mouse over the symbol and figure out the actual typing.
I believe others have mentioned this, but it would be very helpful to have Hexblade's curse be tracked with a check box that is tied to short rest regeneration. Perhaps the same could be done with the Hex Warrior features that regens on a long rest.
I would love to have a checkbox tied to spells that you're holding concentration on. Similarly, for spells that have a certain duration, it would also be very helpful to have boxes to help track how many turns it's been that you've been holding that concentration (ie, ten boxes for a 1 minute duration spell). I understand that the second part of this could get a bit busy, but it would certainly help my forgetful mind to keep things straight.
Legends would be really helpful for the various short hand symbols being used throughout the sheet. I've mentioned it above for damage type, but I've also noticed it with respect to having the War Caster feat. In saving throws there is a green d20 with an A in it. I know that this means advantage because I'm familiar with the feat, but that sort of short hand is hard to know right off the back. I've heard that similar confusion has been cropping up with the skills and how Expertise and Jack of All Trades is represented.
Thanks, and I'm really looking forward to using this new product!
I really like the changes! However, can we get an "all" section on the spells list? One of my players really likes being able to look through all the spells she has prepared at once.
Having played last night with these new characters sheets, I am very impressed with the improvements, they have a greater, pen and paper feel to their format and their appearance as well as are extremely functional. Thank you for your hard work.
I would combine the Actions and Combat sections into one view in Tablet view. Those are the two you're going to most likely be looking at while in combat, having to switch between the two to see what a player can do and what their current status is will slow things down. I think there is plenty of room to combine those into one page in tablet view, it is not any larger than the Spells page.
I'll actually run through a game with this on Sunday but so far that is my biggest initial impression from looking at the tablet view is combine those two pages.
I'm playing an Eladrin Elf who changes seasons frequently. There is nowhere that tracks the Season I'm in. Nor does it detail the effects of the various Fey Step options. When I click on the MToF page number reference it throws an error message:
The Beholder has appeared and ruined everything

I'd like to see this in both tablet and desktop views. Again reiterating that I think hit points should be under the combat view on tablets.

Playing a Cleric character, and I can see my special Domain-provided Channel Divinity, but the good ol' Turn Undead is entirely absent from my character sheet.
Apologies if this is redundant, as I am just seeing the new sheet and I'm 15 pages of commentary behind.
Either A) provide a way to toggle to the old view and cal it classic or something. Or B) make the desktop version available for tablets. While I have a few minor complaints about the desktop version (I think AC should always be present, for instance), it is infinitely better than what is currently offered on iPad, which in its current iteration is practically unusable. In fact, I think I like the changes overall to the new desktop layout. But the tablet update essentially hobbled my iPad Pro and made me a weak link in group’s session.
Right, I think the majority of these concerns would be addressed if they just enabled the full desktop version on 10" tablets in landscape mode as well, instead of just the 12" iPad Pro. The new "two clicks to get to any page" works well on a phone, but I don't think it's a good fit for these larger tablets (and I'd consider a 10" tablet to be large).

Another quality of life improvement I'd like to suggest is a "Full Screen" button that launches a new tab/window with the character sheet and no D&D Beyond headers/menu.
Edit: Or maybe the extension developers can implement something like this ;)

There is no way to keep track of uses on the Healer's Kit. Beside adding 10 but that also adds more weight.
I'm missing a plase to see all my ritual spells that I have not prepared
I'm an Evocation wizard. And "Empowered Evocation" is not showing up on spell damage. I know it's a small thing but it would be nice to see it in the spell damage.
Magic Missile says 1d4+1 in damage. And only if you go under details you can see that it is 3x1d4+1 and on higher levels one extra dart. Would it be posibel to total numbers of dart in the quick view. Maybe under notes (And I guess it is the same with other spells that gives more beams/dart/etc)

Now that I've had a chance to look at the new character sheet on my phone, ipad, and desktop... I think it works very nicely everywhere except the ipad, which is terrible. There is a ton of useless space and its tough to find anything on the tablet. If you could just have to option to make it mirror the desktop version, it would be pretty great, but given that almost everyone I know uses a tablet rather than a phone laptop, its kind of disappointing.
Feature Request: Condition details on the slide out
Unless I'm missing something, the Conditions slide out just has toggles to add the condition or not. But in my games the two most looked up things are probably Spells and Conditions. So it would be awesome in some future iteration to be able to click the condition name and see the details (and you can have the Prev/Next nav at the top like I've seen in other slide outs).
Also, for the record, both my group and my son's group (including two new players) all really like the new sheet. My wife and I tried the old sheet for a bit but gave up on it and just printed the PDFs. But we really like the new sheet especially on mobile! We found the old sheet to be too clunky on phones and iPad, but the new one is great.
Lastly, as someone who builds web apps as a career, let me just say that setting aside the subjective opinions about the design choices, the quality of the work Curse put into this is AMAZING! If someone preferred the old sheet, that's understandable and a matter of personal preference. But those who are venting that this is sloppy work or amateur, etc. are simply 100% absolutely wrong. You can go to a nice restaurant and be perfectly justified in a dish not appealing to your tastes without accusing the chef of having no idea what they are doing!
As someone who has built websites professionally since "cross-browser" meant Mosaic & Netscape Navigator, I can recognize great work. This is great work.

THIS IS SO PERFECT.
I was trying to add a custom object, but it seems that the override price and weight it's not working properly.

With the new sheets, the PDF outputs are great BUT it's putting the proficiencies Ps, Hs (Halves), and Es (Experts) next to the wrong skills...
