That would do it. Thank you.

My level 8 Abjuration Wizard (Rock Gnome) has a ranged spell attack bonus +14. That can't be right? prof bonus +3, Int bonus +5, wand of the war mage +1. It should be +9 to hit at the most.
Any ideas?

~Never cruel nor cowardly; never give up, never give in.
Sunblade doesn't appear to be behaving like a 'Finesse' weapon when the description says it should be. It's taking my strength stat for attacks on my Paladin rather than the dexterity even though the latter is significantly higher (-1 vs +5).

I don't know if this is something everyone knows is being worked on, but it seems like the site thinks they are out of beta, but there is so much for character building that is missing! All the internal classes to choose for your character as you level up (for instance the schools you choose in the Monk class, among....I think all the others), feats, backgrounds for your character....quite a few of the basic things.
Again, this might be something that everyone is aware of (I didn't look through all 114 pages of this thread). My worry is that dndbeyond is really wanting to get the subscriptions, and paid content up and running, but is throwing it out there before we have completed content. This is a real recurring theme in the business world now, which worries, and frustrates me. Hopefully these updates are coming soon!

All the published content is here. You need to unlock the non-free material with a purchase in the Marketplace.

That's purchasable content. Check the Marketplace in the top right corner of your screen.

I think most of what you are missing is stuff you have to pay for access to through the PHB and other sources. That said, there are still a lot f things that need fine-tuning, fixing, and rethinking (esp. in regards to the character sheet).
Holy crap, you all are awesome! That was the fastest responses I've ever seen on a forum (might need to get out more). It is wildly obvious that I didn't fully understand this site, and I appreciate your responses! Thanks!
Very impressed w/ the character builder. Not perfect, but for first true release, quite usable (once you unlock content), and I'm pretty picky. Nice work!
Here are the only things that stuck out to me after having created ~10 characters:
Please present an option to change the character portrait after race selection. It's a bit out of sequence, and odd to get back to. The feature that limits the portraits to the right ones based upon race was a neat feature, but not very useful unless you wander back.
Please rework how "starting equipment" works. Perhaps a mini-ui-wizard or something? Also, difficult to know when some starting equipment actually has items (eg, "Add Item") vs just having to type in as a possession. Probably b/c we're very new to DND, perhaps this is more obvious to the wider audience.
The elves' racial cantrip didn't seem to show up in my spell list, had to click a clunky thing well below the main list of spells. That was odd. Include the cantrip where the rest of the things are, and then just note that the reason I got it somewhere under the Racial Features thing.
We getting changelogs in Announcements when it happens, right :D?
As a suggestion, I'd say to create a new section only for changelogs rather than using Announcements. It's easier to see progress than going through all announcement posts :)
I would also looooove this. Really enjoying watching as updates happen but would be awesome to have a dedicated log for this.
One thing I find super confusing is to choose the Proficiencies after picking a race. At that point, I don't know which are already granted by the Class I choose nor the suggested ones by the Background I chose. The current way forces me to go back n forth tons of times, and also have another tab with the compendium to compare.
Would make a lot more sense to pick in this order (just the role play part):
Race
Class
Background
THEN the following sections in one single screen, each in one collapsable section:
Ability Scores
Skills/Proficiencies (all of them, race, class, background)
Languages
Feats
etcetc
This way is possible to make better decisions after picking the roleplay part (race, class, background) and pick all proficiencies at once, all languages, all feats, etc etc.
I was thinking, could spells like Shillelagh add an attack to your attack area with all the correct information (same for spiritual weapon and any similar spell)?

The most memorable stories always begin with failure.
In regards to the character builder: not all options are available such as the Forest Gnome and any other archetype than Champion for fighters. I imagine a lot more is missing as well.
They are there, they just need a purchase to be unlocked. Check the Marketplace.
(1) Character sheet, range attacks should have their ranges.
(2) Spell scrolls (and other wizards' spellbooks) cannot specify what spells they are. Also they should show in either limited uses or spells on character sheet.
(3) Character sheet, custom attack's offhand checkbox does not remove ability modifier from the damage.
(4) Disadvantage on stealth check due to wearing heavy armor is not shown on character sheet.
It might be a good idea to include all character options in the Character Builder, but "grey out" locked choices (so that people can clearly see they need to buy something). For every person who posts here saying something is "missing", there's bound to be more who just give up.

Loki I have Spiritual weapon showing up in my attack area, for shillelagh if you click customize on the character sheet there is a check box that will let it show in the attacks section. Hope that helps.
