I'd like to start some discussion on all aspects of XGE. Given that Kenreck and Crawford are doing videos fairly regularly on the classes, I thought it odd that there wasn't a thread devoted to discussing the content here.
While I am very happy with the subs we know are coming out. What I am super curious about are the new spells, and the new rules on magic items, and which race feats made it through playtesting. There has been virtually no communication about any of these that I have been able to find.

I believe the goal is to have videos of some other aspects of XGtE as well (hoping these come out prior, I'm not 100% sure). Im just glad we are getting confirmation of the subclasses that will appear - I have my hopes on a few that we've seen in UA *keeping fingers crossed*
When it comes to subs I am very curious about what new options we get for Warlock. Not just in the form of Patrons but I would love to see a new pact option or two, I tend to default to chain for scout, tome for casting, and blade for bladelock.

Really hoping for the Celestial pact. I can see powerful roleplaying of a Fallen Aasimar with a Celestial pact.
Mhmm, that's some good flavor right there.

I’m looking forward to seeing what downtime activities made it through play testing. A lot of those options were interesting, though I think the crafting option still leaves a lot to be desired.
I’m curious which racial feats made it through as well and I’m surprised none of the skill feats made it throgh as I thought they were pretty good.
The thing I’m most looking forward to learning more about is the new magic items rules. I’m really hoping it includes optional prices for everything so that a DM can include a magic item shop like previous editions if they choose and also to give an idea about what they consider to be the relative power level/value of each item in the same rarity tier - a range of 500-5,000gp for rare and 5,000-50,000gp is not very helpful for gauging power level.
One of the few gripes I have with 5e and the thing that is probably most frustrating is that they included alternate rules and options for just about every aspect of the game that changed from previous editions (e.g., feats, multiclassing, flanking, reinstating attacks of opportunity), but left magic items out.
They also have very little guidance on how to determine when to distribute certain magic items except for the same price table in the DMG that gives a suggested character level for each rarity tier. Again though, without a much smaller range it’s very difficult to gauge this.
The community has done a great job with creating a wealth by level chart based on the average expected hoarde section of the DMG and a price list in the form of the Sane Magic Item Price List, but something official would be appreciated.

None of the skill feats made it through? Not even Brawny?
There has been no mention of skill feats from what I remember. But no one has said they are not in there.

Thats a good point, I was assuming they weren’t because they have been mentioned but I should wait to see. I’m hoping they are because it would be a big bump to the list of official feats.

If these are public homebrew feats, won't I be able to access them regardless of whether or not I pre-ordered?

The Homebrew system for Feats isn't live yet (and probably won't be at the point where XGtE is released).
It is likely that when the Feats Homebrew system goes live, that everyone with a Hero or Master tier subscription will gain access to these public homebrew feats, yes.
Think of it as pre-orders of XGtE will be getting these feats ahead of everyone else.
Did anyone else see the leaked images of the GF9 spell cards for Xanathar's on Reddit? I can't find the link anymore so it must have been pulled but it contained ~90 spells, that's pretty awesome.

You should see if your browser has it cached, would love to see that.

Of the ones from the videos, I am most interested in the Cavalier and the Circle of Dreams.

Really hoping for a Warlock or Wizard subclass today.
Do we know who is making the homebrew racial feats? Is it actually from Wizards or from the beyond team or the community?
