Ink shouts to Marav, "Maybe bear is the way to go!?!"
Too far up the hill to reach them in one swoop, Ink and Quill fly down towards Marav and Rip's positions as far as he can, shooting a fire bolt at it...

The firebolt hits the Gargoyle full-force, burning into it with ferocity. The gargoyle shrieks with a rocky cry as pebblesque debris begins sloughing off in the heat.

Quill flies with Ink looking for footsteps in the dust of the hill.

Quill sees some slight depressions made in the ground, blades of grass being bent, moving in Marav's direction. You don't know exactly where without seeing through Quill's eyes.

Ink takes the bolt of force and grunts, expecting to receive a second bolt, only to here Quill call out and poofs out of existence in a cloud of smoke and feathers. Ink's place immediately has a look of horror, followed by a scowl of anger.
