i'm trying to make a home-brew warlock subclass. i will admit that i dont know much about home brewing on dnd beyond, but ive made other things and shared them with success. but for some reason i can't share my new subclass, and the reasons given are completely false. this is what it says on the page.
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass. The Slaughter is currently too similar to Circle of Spores to share with the community. This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
I dont really know what the first part means. but the second and third reasons are completely false. warlocks get two abilities at 1st level, one at 6th, one at 10th, and one at 14th; i have added features at the levels. and it isnt anything like circle of spores. how can i fix this
After adding the features, did you click the top-level save button? THe system only checks compliance when you save the whole homebrew, and not jsut the modifiers.
If that doesn't fix it, please post a link so the staff can take a look. Staff can view private homebrew.
I would also add that once you publish the class, you cannot change it, so make sure you thoroughly playtest it first. However, all homebrew that is in your collection (whether private, or public) is automatically shared with everyone in any campaign you have a character in.
Ensnaring Strike is from the Player's Handbook and isn't in the Basic Rules. I didn't check any other spells.

So I can’t use certain spells in the subclass? That sucks, but okay I guess. Which ones aren’t allowed?
For private homebrew (which can be shared with any campaign you are in without publishing), you can use an spell you have purchased here, plus all the free spells (from the SRD and the EEPC). For published homebrew, you can only use the free spells. This is (in part) because if someone else "subscribed" to your published homebrew but hadn't purchased the spells you used, the subclass/magic item/etc. wouldn't work properly for them.

You can totally use those spells, you just can’t publish the subclass. But if you only just completed writing it then I would recommend against publishing anyway since you haven’t done all of the playtesting and editing and after you publish you can no longer edit.

Here is a link. I will do the thing you suggested

Okay I hit the top level save button and I still can’t share. For the first reason. The second and third reasons have gone.
