So I replied to one of the articles that'd been posted in DDB. And each time I came back the "bell" icon had a notification. I got tired of seeing it and turned off all notifications. I mean, all of them. And every time I log in here - I get a notification that someone replied to that article. It's not a big deal - just more of annoyance. I am assuming because I had notification on before - it's just not turning off for that article - but if I post on a future article, I wouldn't get the "bell" icon with a number next to it. If that's the case, though trivial, it might be worth looking into why notifications don't turn off when you shut them off - even for older stuff. :-)
