I don't see this listed as an option when I level up Barbarian class even though this is in the PHB. Is there a way for me to add it? I don't see an option to add custom features
Well - the PHB isn't free - either in book form or on DNDBeyond. If you don't own it (or the subclass individually) on DNDBeyond - or are having it shared to you via Content Sharing from someone in a campaign - or homebrew it for free yourself - then you won't have access to it.
You normally have the PHB/Basic stuff though. That is what they mean. Like the Berserker subclass is also PHB. Yet you can’t get Totem Warrior on DND Beyond.
Only the things listed as Basic Rules or Elemental Evil (and some other minor exceptions I'm sure I'm forgetting) are free on DDB. And each class only has one free option for subclass.
Barbarian: Berserker Wizard: Evocation Monk: Open Hand Sorcerer: Draconic Warlock: The Fiend Cleric: Life Fighter: Champion Ranger: Hunter Bard: Lore Druid: Land Paladin: Devotion Rogue: Thief
If you purchase the PHB you'll get access to the other PHB suclasses and races. (IIRC Forest Gnome and Drow Elf are the only non-free PHB races. Although Variant Human, with the extremely limited feat selection of Grappler, may as well be a paid race.)
You are also free to try using the homebrew mechanics to replicate PHB material. (Spells are rather simple. Feats a little more complicated. I really haven't tried my hand at copying subclasses all that much.)

Technically speaking, the actual Basic Rules from WotC*1 only includes 4 classes: the cleric, fighter, rogue, and wizard, and only 1 subclass for each. The SRD*2 has those, plus the other 8 classes with 1 subclass for each. The official Basic Rules from WotC does include stuff the SRD doesn’t, for example the Basic Rules has 6 backgrounds, while the SRD only has 1. I believe there are also some differences with the races included in each document, as well as maybe the spells and magic items too, but I’m honestly not 100% sure, so don’t quote me on that or anything.
DDB got permission from WotC and combined the two documents into a single resource they simply refer to as the “Basic Rules.*3” That document being a combination of the other two, but with the same name as one of those original documents has caused no end of confusion for lots of people regarding what is or isn’t free content here on DDB, among other things. (I personally wish they had titled it the “Basic Rules & SRD” to avoid that confusion, and still think they should change the title, but they won’t because it would mess up all the links to it that are already out there since the URL includes the title as seen below.)
Anyway…. I just wanted to add some additional information and minimize any potential confusion out in the world as best I could. That way, it clarifies things in case anyone out there looks at it and says “my copy of the basic rules doesn’t have that, so why is it free and this other thing isn’t?”

This is a signature. It was a simple signature. But it has been upgraded.
