Seems like an old issue that I cannot resolve. I am trying to add a subclass for my Paladin from published homebrew. It comes up in the builder and I can select it - it changes the name of my Channel Divinity options, but it uses the descriptors for the vanilla Channel Divinity options.
what am I doing wrong?
I have leveled up the character, brought it back down. It is saved in my Collection. L have cleared my cache, logged out, and logged in again. This has been for several days and I cant figure it out.
Is this a public homebrew that you added to your collection? If so, you will have to contact the author of that subclass. They will have to create a new version, edit it, and republish it. You will then need to remove the old version from your collection and add the new one. if they do not respond or update their homebrew you should report it.
If it is your homebrew, and it is already published, you will need to “Create New Version,” and edit it yourself. The text that displays on the details page for a homebrew is the text entered in the “Description” fields for the various features. The text that displays on the character sheets is what is entered in the “Snippet” fields for the various class features and the associated actions attached to them.
It is a public homebrew. I have not had trouble with creating and adding my own homebrew in the past - very simple stuff modified off bases objects and monsters.
This is Oath of Devotion for a paladin and it is loading the homebrew titles, just not the descriptions. I am guessing the homebrew is incorrectly coded and that is the entirety of the problem. I have not checked the coding...yet.

Can you give the link to the homebrew?
