I decided to make myself my first homebrew race and a sub-race for it which it says is linked to it in the collection creator.
I then published the race (Called the Obizon) and it got approved, yet when i go to the character creator it wont appear as a available option to choose, but the sub-race i made and saved (Fallen-Obizon) is available for usage but only when it is set to a grouping with the HUMAN race.
Have i done something wrong with the settings for the Obizon and Fallen-Obizon settings? If so can a moderator assist in helping figure this out? and if possible to dissapprove the homebrew race so i can edit it/fix this?
Thank you in advance

Relatively new to DnD, I'm learning how to play but so far it seems like fun, I only have one community/campaign that i am apart of so if anyone feels like adding me to another one feel free.

The parent race will never be visible because it is not selectable, only the subclasses will be. I recommend against publishing the subraces however. If you need to edit anything then you still can as long as they aren’t published. If you publish them, then you will need to create a new version of the base race and then recreate the subraces from scratch because they won’t port over. Of course, if you need to edit the base race the saw me is true now that it’s published anyway. (Ya can’t directly edit stuff that’s been published ‘round here.)
I see, so i should basically remake the regular version of the Obizon but make it as an Sub-race so that it appears in the race order and playable.
Thanks, I thought i did something wrong. I appreciate the help!

Or, you could create Obizon as a race without sub-races, and then have the Fallen version be a variant instead.
