Hello there, i have purchased some of the books you have available online through your website, but i bought the actual books from D&D, so my?? is. Can i get access to those books on your website without having to buy them again?! I would greatly appreciate help with this, I have always used the books, and switching to this format is really new to me. I appreciate any and all help.
No, this is a frequent question that has been answered many times. TLDR is D&D Beyond isn't Wizards and it would be like asking Audible for a free audiobook of a hardcover you bought at Barnes and Noble.
As mentioned above, if you buy the physical books, you do NOT get the digital content for D&D Beyond. However, you can manually input any content using the Homebrew system. This is extremely tedious and takes a LOT of time. If you plan on using this site, I recommend NOT buying the physical copies. Buy the content off of this site instead.
Yeah this happens because dndbeyond negotiated for the official logo for the site. It confuses people into thinking this site is owned by Wizards (myself included for the first few minutes). No one would expect that out of roll 20 or other online roll-play sites.
