Hello I have been unable to find a clear answer to this. I use foundry vtt, I have imported content that I and my players own on d&d beyond over to it. It automatically creates tokens and icons from our d&d beyond contents art. So I was wondering if I am allowed to use this art on a stream? I hope I posted in the right place but I am looking for an official answer from staff, thank you.
I know D&D Beyond tries to be supportive of streaming and there is a specific statement on the extent of that support somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment. If you open another query in the Streams and Video subforum, you may get community response from active streamers on the extent they use DDB content in stream.
Q: Can I create a fan page about your games? And use Wizards’ art? A: Yes! We love it! Just follow the policies outlined above.
Q: Does “Fan Content” includeweb videos and live streams? A: Yes! We love it! Just follow the policies outlined above.
If your live stream is free to access (ie. Twitch / Youtube and not locked behind needing to be a member / subscriber) you can use WotC art for tokens, NPCs, etc. Just read the rest of the policy to so you understand what is prohibited (basically don't try to make WotC look bad by using its art)
If that does not satisfy you, you will most likely have to email WotC support to get a definitive answer (its at the bottom of the FAQ: https://support.wizards.com/

Any hope of getting an answer on this? I don't want to run into copyright issues.
