Hi, I’m loving the tools provided by the website and I am now considering purchasing the necessary manuals to run my forthcoming campaign on the website. I have the corresponding manuals in physical copy, and I was wondering if I should wait to buy the online versions, given the fact that WotC recently acquired dndBeyond. Is anyone aware of future plans in the direction of redeeming manuals or something like that https://nox.tips/https://xender.vip/?
I honestly wouldn't count on that and if WotC ever did decide to tie digital and physical together it would very likely ONLY be with new printings of the books that would come with redemption vouchers. There's simply no way to validate books already on the market and already purchased.
Having said all that if you're wanting to invest into D&D Beyond I would suggest, in my humble opinion, a buy as you go strategy or rather buy what you need when you need it. If you're a player grab the Player's Handbook, then perhaps some time later buy character options such as subclasses, races, etc that you want individually. The same thing applies if you're a DM, grab the Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, and Player's Handbook and then work on secondary material like Xanathar's, Tasha's, etc as needed.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
