Soul Blades

9th-level Soulknife feature

Your Psychic Blades are now an expression of your psi-suffused soul, giving you these powers that use your Psionic Energy dice:

Homing Strikes. If you make an attack roll with your Psychic Blades and miss the target, you can roll one Psionic Energy die and add the number rolled to the attack roll. If this causes the attack to hit, you expend the Psionic Energy die.

Psychic Teleportation. As a bonus action, you manifest one of your Psychic Blades, expend one Psionic Energy die and roll it, and throw the blade at an unoccupied space you can see, up to a number of feet away equal to 10 times the number rolled. You then teleport to that space, and the blade vanishes.

I can confirm this, using the "Search Everything" site search box. Note that there's some other issues going on with the Search tools for the site, so hopefully they will get this issue squared away too once they can (this Monday is a holiday in the US.)

The “Search Everything” feature for this site is really only about a “Search Some Stuff… Sorta” feature. Stuff at the level of Class Features like Soul Blades has been entered as searchable terms, but stuff at the level of individual subclass feature actions like Homing Strikes or Psychic Teleportation haven’t been.

"Soul Blades" returns results, but none are related to the Soulknife Rogue.

Ahh, you’re absolutely right. Individual subclass features must not be entered into the system as searchable yet. Let’s face it, the search function around here sucks eggs. It’s usually faster to google it and then find it here directly, which is sad.

And googling doesn't work for the non-free sources, since you need to be logged in to view them, so those pages don't get indexed by outside search engines.

If you already know what you’re looking for then navigating to it directly is the fastest way because using the search function as a potential shortcut is practically a nonstarter unless you already know that whatever you’re looking for happens to be indexed.

In my case we had a group member use Homing Strikes. I went to look up the rule and found no results. I had to leave D&D Beyond to find out where to look. Then go back into Tasha's to find it. Seems like an easy fix to make it searchable.

If the player clicks/taps the action on their DDB character sheet the sidebar will slide out and display the full description for them to read.

yes, but in this case I was not the player and was trying to read about the ability. 

You don't have to be the player in order to read the sidebar for a character's feature.

Just to be clear. You’re suggesting I leave my character sheet, go to my party members character sheet in The campaign section and click through their abilities to read the description?  Seems like a cool work around in game but not very useful in situations where your just searching for a description. 

Ya can just hover over Game Rules, click Rogue and then click Soulknife. If you're quick it takes seconds - in my case it would actually be faster than typing "homing strikes" in the search bar. 

You can also just search by the class or subclass and get there in one click. 

I suggest nothing, just noting. But then I have like a bunch of tabs for dndbeyond on my browser, so it doesn't feel like extra effort.
