I am starting a new Acquisitions Inc campaign with a group of players new to 5e. I want to limit character creation options to PHB and XGtE. I have used content sharing to block all other sourcebooks, but my players are still seeing options from TCoE, MMotM and more. It's not always obvious which sourcebook a subclass or race come from in the builder, so a lot of my players have created characters with banned options.
How can I make sure this banned content is not available?
As a new DM running a campaign for players new to 5e, this is extremely disappointing. I am trying to limit character choices to PHB and XGtE to avoid players picking some of the massively overpowered races and classes from the later source books until we have more experience in the system. I have a couple min-maxers in my friends group who will absolutely break the game if given the chance.
For my sanity, and the enjoyment of the other players at the table, please let me restrict character builder options on my own campaign!!

Content blocking only blocks player access to read the compendiums, there is no way to block content in the character builder.

Well that is pretty disappointing.
