It seems to be related to the use of blockquotes. Sometimes (not today) the post is published in a smaller font than normal. (Can't find an example quickly offhand, but I'll look. Edit: See reply, below.)
You can click on the "Edit" button but nothing happens.
(Also - maybe unrelated? More often than not, I have to reload the page before I can edit a post. I'm using Google Chrome on Mac OS11.6.5. This one's not a biggie, as I just got into the habit of reloading before editing. But the uneditable posts I mention above are not helped by reloading.)
For the time being, I've found that you can right-click the 'Edit' link and open in new tab. If you remove all the "p-dev" HTML formatting, the post should return to normal.
Same problem as described above. It seems to be related to the use of blockquote, and the post is published in a smaller font than normal, and italicized. I can click on the "Edit" button but nothing happens.
I tried the trick you suggested before (which worked last time) but this time there's no reference to "p-dev". I'm reluctant to experiment. What do you suggest here?
Thanks again!
Edit: P.S. This weird bug also makes the entire post after the blockquotes completely invisible to mobile users. If you click on the link above from a phone, you probably won't see anything after the blockquote. From a computer you can read the whole post, but it's just weirdly small and italicized. And I can't edit it.
I cannot read it on mobile in portrait orientation but I can in landscape orientation. You might try turning your phone to landscape orientation to see if you can edit your posts that way. If so, click the button with the following symbol:
Can any of you read the two sentences under the quote on your phone in portrait orientation? I can't. (On desktop, it appears tiny and italicized, which I didn't format it as.)
I also can't edit it.
And when I try that trick where I right-click the 'Edit' link and open in new tab to remove the "p-dev" HTML formatting, I don't see any to remove. (So I left it alone.)
There's a reoccurring bug in the D&DB forums wherein a post becomes completely uneditable. (Today's example: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/54005-ghosts-of-saltmarsh-cbaer8-campaign-thread?comment=6208 )

Found one! Here's an example of the Uneditable Post of Doom bug where the font goes weird: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/73043-shipwrecked-in-saltmarsh?comment=3435

Okay, I have a new uneditable post: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/147112-journeys-through-the-radiant-citadel?comment=106

That will let you see the html for your post.

It fixed itself overnight! Well, mostly.
It's still uneditable on computer or phone, but it's now visible on the phone, and the formatting looks correct on both.
A new uneditable and mobile-invisible post:
