I'm trying to simply post an image of one of my characters in the play-by-post forum and I can't get the forum to agree with it.

I've got the image, which is a JPEG, and I've uploaded it to Imgur, and copied the link, and tried to use the forum tool button "insert/edit image" by putting the link in there. It doesn't work. I just get a tiny little box which doesn't show anything. 

This is the method I've used in the past that seemed to work. Please understand that I'm technologically illiterate at this point. Why can't I get this to work now? Please help?

I appreciate that you're trying to be helpful but your video just details what I already described, exactly. My process is the process you showed in the video. And it doesn't work.

The point was so you could say what is different between what is in the video and what you are seeing or doing. Just going "it doesn't work" doesn't enable us to help you.
