They are working perfectly so you're either looking in wrong place, checking for non-free spells you don't actually have or using a messed up homebrew version.

If they are working for you that is great, it is not working on mine and I'm confident the abberant mind spells are free known spells as it says in its description "you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class. ....... Each of these spells count as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know" The added spells don't even show up as options for me to learn. I am confident I did not select a homebrew because it became available to select after I had purchased that specific subclass
Of the 11 psionics spells of aberrant mind sorcerer, 3 are free.
The way the feature works, you don't add them to your spells known, they just show up on your character sheet when you are the right level (assuming you have licence to add it to your character).
hi, I know its been years since this thread, but wanna ask, Im playing celestial warlock and my expanded spell list is cure wounds and guiding bolt for level 1, both of which are 1000% free spells. Any clue why they are not showing up?

I am a new player in DnD and I'm trying to learn the basicks and have fun.
You're using homebrew? You're looking in wrong place?
Only things I can think of. Every test I made for this for my original post resulted in spells showing up. My tests included:
Different browsers: Edge, Chrome, Opera and Firefox. Different devices: PC, Laptop, iPad, iPhone, Android smartphone. Different Internet Providers: BT, Sky, Vodafone.
I tried all of the above with VPNs enabled (Nord, Express and Opera GX) and disabled. I have also tested with other addons like Beyond20, AboveVTT, Adblocker Plus.
All tests were perfectly 100% showing all spells.
I am therefore very confident the issue would lie with your system and not D&D Beyond.

So, first off, I bought this subcass from beyond, so its 100% not a homebrew. Second of all, what would be the right place for it? Cause Im going to character sheet, besides actions, on spells, and Im looking at my spells. Im level 1, so i have like, 2 spells for level 1, those being hex and witch bolt, which i chose, and there should be the other two spells as well, but they're not there. I tried to add them manually, but beyond doesn't allow you to do that, and I see the feature of 'expended spell list' but no matter were I press there's nothing that allows that.

The bonus spells from a warlock subclass are not automatically known, they are only added to the list of spells you can choose if you decide to. You would still have to learn those spells (cure wounds and guiding bolt) instead of hex and/or witch bolt. The only spells you automatically get from that subclass are the light and sacred flame cantrips.
You have to choose them as you would with Hex and Witchbolt. They are available to you, but do count against your spells known, unlike Aberrant Mind which automatically prepares its subclass spells for you.
The expanded spells for both abberant mind and hexblade are not showing in my characters spell options or spell list

The spells may not cost any known spell slots for your character, but they cost $ here on DDB. You have to purchase the spells separately.
