Looks like there's a bit of an error in the expanded spells available for Genie Patron characters. The available expanded spells are meant to be specific to Genie type selected as per below (everyone gets Genie spell list & Specific to Genie type spells):
Doing now efreeti genie warlock and was surprised I can add fog cloud as spell, does anyone looked on this? Or my reading is wrong and it is correct I can have marid spells?
It is too complicated for the current system to restrict available spells in such a way as a single subclass - and it's too much to create multiple copies of the subclass for each genie type (and confusing for new players). It's important to remember that books are designed without D&D Beyond in mind so some mechanics from the books may not be implemented. It would take a lot of work to rewrite the system framework to accommodate this mechanic, and they're busy with other priorities right now. It is unlikely this bug would be fixed anytime soon, if ever at all. So it will be up to you/the player to ensure you're adding the correct spells.
As for adding Wish I made a video showing how to do a workaround.

I have noticed a sudden spike in interest regarding the genie warlock. Is a streamer playing a genielock? I love seeing the Warlock get any love.
Not that I'm aware of. Been planning one for myself for my group's next campaign or one shot. The idea is to play a Dhampir Warlock as a diminished entity who grants "wishes" (aka Warlock spell slots) in exchange for dreams (Dhampir hunger option) or signed contracts which he keeps in his little black book (Pact of the Tome). Also tossing around a Bardlock along a similar vein but going Creation Bard.
Sorry if this isn't the right spot.

However the character creator has access to all the level 1 - 5 spells regardless of which Genie type you select.
Also the level 9 mystic arcanum hasn't been updated to allow for Wish that is included in the above list.

No it's still bugged. If you're efreeti you shouldn't have access to any marid spells.
And confirm that the 9th Level Spells for Mystic Arcanum at Level 17 does not let you pick Wish like it should.
