My main character took a point of exhaustion a few sessions ago. I liked that there was a little disadvantage marker next to the skills as a reminder. However, even after multiple long rests, leveling up, manually messing with exhaustion, and other edits and tweaks to my character sheet I cannot get those little disadvantage markers to go away! Please help!
It's just that one character, I've checked all my other characters.
That appears to be coming from your homebrew race, which has a feature called "Few Fingers" which appears to be marking disadvantage on all skills. I would recommend reaching out to the author of the homebrew to see what they have as a modifier for that feature.

oh, thank you! i didn't notice that. It didn't show up when I originally set up the character, but DndBeyond has updated a few times since then. Thanks for finding it!

Does applying Exhaustion or any condition actually add the advantage/disadvantage icons? I can't seem to get them to work if they are supposed to.
i.e. 1 level of exhaustion should add a "D" next to all skill checks
Not currently. Temporary effects such as that are not presently supported, however they are working on it.
