In one of my campaigns one of my charachters is playing a blood hunter. They just hit level 3 and when going to choose his order it doesnt show any options available. The only thing that is available is "choose an option". Does anyone know what is going on here?

Hello EZMoney1992 -- is your player playing a Blood Hunter (Archived)? The old version of the Blood Hunter is no longer available on D&D Beyond, as a more recent version has been created by Matt Mercer. Due to how the archival process works, a Blood Hunter (Archived) who had not yet chosen an order will be unable to access the Archived versions of the orders. 

The player can change their class to "Blood Hunter" for the latest version, which would have the new versions of the subclasses as well.

So there is no way to get the order from the old blood hunter? Because the new and updated class just doesn't feel the same way as the old one?

I still cant select the order with the new blood hunter class. Do I have to buy something for it?

 No purchase necessary. What level is the character?

 Yeah and it still won't let me pick

I can’t select all the esoteric rites - I specifically want the necrotic but I can only seem to select lightning/fire

I am unable to give my Blood Hunter character a "Blood Hunter Order" it says the character must be level 3, which it is. It does not give me any options for any of the "Blood Hunter Orders" can someone help me please. I do not understand.

 You need to enable Critical Role Content in your HOME | Preferences (it should be red/to the right.)
