There seems to be a bug where if a monster has a type of "unknown" then the encounter crashes and the "Report feedback" button pops up when you click on it to see the monster stat block. I did quite a lot of trial and error and narrowed it down to this causing the issue.
How to reproduce the bug:
Create any homebrew monster with Monster Type "unknown" (other details can be whatever and should not affect the bug appearing).
Create an encounter with the newly created "unknown" monster.
Save the encounter and either click the monster (or run the encounter and click on the monster)
The "Report feedback" button pops up and encounter crashes.
A temporary fix right now is just to use any type other than "unknown".
because they don't know what type of monster you are creating when you start creating a monster. a Monster of an unknown type is not a concept that exists in DND.
They probably should have a validation on it when you try to save the monster

Still Happening 8 Months later
This is because “unknown” is not a valid monster type.
